.:: Mikutherm Optimal ::.
The Elkom solid surface preheating station has been developed for the economical, safe, and protective heating of Corian® as well as solid surface materials. Contact heat on both sides, without application of pressure to the material, is ideal. Mikutherm Optimal meets the requirements of the raw material suppliers and processors. The preheating and bending time for a 6 millimeter Corian® part is only 3 minutes for each process - a total processing time of 6 minutes. The Mikutherm Optimal has two individual temperature controllers (top and bottom), each capable of 0-200° C. The high-quality, gold anodized Elkom heating plates ensure protection of the material, uniform continuous temperature, and extremely long life.

.:: Vacutherm Membrane Press ::.
For Corian® and thermoplastics
The Elkom Vacutherm Membrane Press has been developed in cooperation with the Air Press Company to provide a new technology in the forming of solid surface parts such as Corian®, thermoplastics, and acrylic. The machine comes equipped with an Elkom Ökotherm patented heating/cooling platen in order to bring out the high temperatures of the plastic with a temperature controlled environment. The machine is an ideal compliment to the Elkom Mikutherm preheating contact platen oven. For mass production, we also offer cooling machines.
