The Elkom solid surface preheating station has been developed for the economical, safe, and protective heating of Corian? as well as solid surface materials. Contact heat on both sides, without application of pressure to the material, is ideal. MikuTherm Optimal meets the requirements of the raw material suppliers and processors. The preheating and bending time for a 6 millimeter Corian part is only 3 minutes for each process - a total processing time of 6 minutes. The MikuTherm Optimal has two individual temperature controllers (top and bottom), each capable of 0-200 C. The high-quality, gold anodized Elkom heating plates ensure protection of the material, uniform continuous temperature, and extremely long life.

The ELKOM preheating station MIKUTHERM OPTIMAL has been developed for economical, safe and protective heating of solid surface sheets as well as all thermoplastics, acrylic glass and similar material. It is the latest, most efficient and safest system on the market??

 Technical features:

• Top and bottom ELKOM aluminium industrial electrical heating platen (18 mm thick, extremely durable)
• Free-moving drawer with ball-bearing guide for easy access to table.
• Top table with short-stroke cylinders (pneumatic) and material thickness adjustment.
• Central switchbox with main switch, 2 computerised controllers (self optimising) up to 200?C (stepless adjustment) Pneumatic switch for top table stroke and maintenance unit

Solid surface sheets and other thermoplastics must be heated carefully. Contact heat on both sides without application of pressure to the material is ideal. MIKUTHERM-OPTIMAL meets the requirements of the raw material suppliers and fabricators.

In contrast to conventional temperature control systems with folding-cover tables maximum safety is achieved with short and material-protecting cycle times. The preheating time for a 13 mm solid surface sheet is only about 5 minutes. The high-quality, gold anodised ELKOM heating platens ensure protection of the material, uniform continuos temperature and extremely long life. The solid surface sheet is held flat, but not pressed by the lowerable top table. Any risk of colour change is avoided by the precise MIKUTHERM technology
